Guests were forced to evacuate a luxury hotel in Taipei City at around 3:00AM this morning, February 25, after a fire broke out in the basement of the building. Eighteen homes were razed to the ground, November 21, in Taichung County’s Tanzi District, after a fire broke out on the second floor of one of the residences. American Ship Catches Fire in Kaohsiung Harbor

An American-flagged fishing vessel caught fire while docked in Kaohsiung harbor today, August 4, 2016. Nine fire trucks and two fire boats were dispatched to deal with the blaze. At 3:13pm, thick smoke and flames erupted from behind the bridge of the 258.4 foot American Eagle. Driver Suspected of Deliberately Setting Bus on Fire

Lithium Battery causes Fire: 2 Dead

A building was destroyed after a lithium ion battery being repaired in the first floor electric bicycle business went up in flames. Because there were many flammable substances in the store, an intense fire quickly engulfed the business. Four men managed to make it to the roof from where they were rescued by firefighters, but two men died in the building.
